More then just a new tagline, Make Your World Bigger is Discovery’s purpose and promise to viewers. It’s the guiding principle used to create content and the idea that lies at the heart of all their communications. In May, this extensive and on going brand campaign evolved into a full month of activations which involved a full channel takeover.
In the last weeks of April we aired a series of six teasers- the fast-paced, slick graphic style cut through on-air. In May, we replaced existing Bumpers and Idents with Tip Bumpers; each suggesting a way in which our viewers could make their world bigger. This fresh graphic style became the basis for a complete channel take over, including a bespoke promo graphics package.
